The Other Way

Don't look up to see Heaven
You won't see it there.
Instead, look just the opposite;
inside yourself, somewhere
Heaven's supposed to be comfort
to souls; who have earned their place,
but earning means charity and love
for the whole of the human race.
Love for your fellow man,
nature, and the animals too
Yes, that's what Heaven is all about,
so think of the good you can do.
When you die; you go to dust;
having fought life's final inning,
so it seems that all of life,
goes back to it's beginning.
So; Heaven is so vast --- you can't see it,
so it makes a lot of sense;
to look far deep inside yourself ---
TO HEAVEN --- WHAT EXCELLENCE!
