Sometimes I am an eagle, nesting away from society;
oh so high upon the cliffs. Away from enemies of all,
close to God's universe, I fly and glide in the sky.
Other times, I am a sparrow; that more social bird,
the excitement of a group, always on the go!
Sometimes I am a seagull, because I love the sea.
The roaring waves upon the seashore, are all music to me.
Sometimes I feel real bossy; so then I am a jay.
We fight and share among ourselves, every night and every day.
When I want to make a lot of noise, sometimes I am a crow.
I squawk and holler high in a tree, and love to dive all things below.
Sometimes I feel like traveling, so then I am a swallow.
I travel very wide and far - only to return to Capistrano.
